Issues encountered with the BSS Soundweb lite

Has anyone encountered the problem of the unit working fine for months, and then all of a sudden producing distorted audio? I have seen two different units do this on two different occasions, in two different installed systems. The only solution at the time was to power cycle the unit and then on (until know at least) they have worked with no issues.

An thoughts?

I'll have to double-check what model of Soundweb we use, but I've noticed a slowly increasing noise floor in our install system. The noise floor is now at the point where you can hear the buzz when the room is empty. I wonder if its the Soundweb. I'm going to try rebooting ours and see what happens.

So I rebooted our Soundweb and the buzz was gone. Completely gone. I guess it built slowly enough that I assumed it had always been there, but now that its gone the room is really really quiet. I will have to remember this for the future. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Has anyone experienced a problem connecting the soundweb lite 3088 to a pc running xp
we see the device in windows, but can not access the device through the sound web designer program
does anyone have any advice
